Description
These pudding cups are equal parts chocolate and vanilla, but they're also equal parts nostalgic comfort and simple sophistication — as welcome at a cafeteria table as they are at a dinner party. A combination of egg yolks and cornstarch gives the pudding a perfect set-but-soft texture, while the sweetened condensed milk turns it incomparably silky and creamy. This recipe makes plenty of pudding cups to go around (they're too good not to share!), but it's also easily halved (see “tips,” below).
