In place of the typical chocolate or cinnamon, this soft and fluffy babka is swirled with frangipane and plum preserves. It's a beautiful addition to the table during the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, when plums are usually in season. Even if you don't observe the holiday, bake this babka for an early fall brunch or afternoon treat. The recipe makes two loaves – one for you, the other for making a friend or neighbor very happy.
