Inspired by Swedish kardemummabullar, these twisted cardamom buns highlight the irresistible spice in the dough, filling, and glaze. A few other flavors complement the fruity, robust cardamom in the filling, including cinnamon for warmth, black cocoa for color and a hint of bitterness, and black pepper for heat. The finishing glaze gives these buns a gorgeous shiny exterior and one last hit of cardamom flavor.
