This delicious pie, courtesy of NYC-based food writer and photographer Yossy Arefi, was inspired by memories of her childhood summers in Seattle spent eating and enjoying her mom's blackberry pie. This updated version of the classic calls for generous amounts of zippy fresh ginger and sweet vanilla, which is just right with the dark berries.
