Vermont is known for its maple syrup. One of my favorite cookies to make is these Easy Sugar Cookies with Maple Frosting because they require no rolling and no chilling. It's a tradition in Vermont to have real maple syrup, so please don't use the artificial kind. We use maple syrup from the trees in our back yard.
