Baking powder biscuits are often used for summery fruit shortcakes. But when you add almond flour, the texture transforms into shortcakes that melt in your mouth with a mildly nutty, sweet flavor. To finish the shortcakes, gently split them into top and bottom pieces, pile sweetened fresh fruit on the bottom, add the top, and crown with whipped cream — your macerated fruit deserves an almond flour shortcake as a base!
