Description
This is what's known in France as a cake salé (sah-lay), a category of savory quick breads that contain everything from meat to vegetables to cheese, all bound in a rich, tangy, olive oil batter. Ours has two kinds of cheese (cheddar and Parmesan) and is studded with broccoli, a winning combination.
